Tengrinews.kz — From October 26, Kazakhstanis will begin receiving messages from the Ministry of Healthcare about vaccinations they have received. Here is how the notifications will work and what to do if an SMS contains incorrect information, according to the Ministry of Healthcare.
Nationwide vaccination notifications are expected to launch on October 26. Medical organizations will enter vaccination information into the information system. The person who received the vaccine, or the legal representative of a vaccinated child, will receive an SMS indicating the type of vaccine and the date it was administered.
If the information is incorrect, the recipient will be able to reply to the notification and report the error. To do so, they will need to send an SMS to 1414.
The information will then be forwarded to the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control for verification.
The Ministry of Healthcare also said it is continuing to develop a digital patient identification system. The system helps confirm that a person actually received a medical service.
According to the ministry, as of October 7, 2026, digital identification had been completed for 73 percent of the 135.9 million registered medical appointments.
The system currently verifies 1,278 types of medical services. From December 1, 2026, the Ministry of Healthcare plans to add another 736 types of medical care, including consultations, diagnostic tests and medical procedures.
