Once the new rules take effect, consumers will also be able to verify this information through a specialized application.
For dietary supplements produced in Kazakhstan, the manufacturer will be responsible for labeling. If the supplement is produced outside of Kazakhstan, the importer is responsible for identification.
Identification marks will be used to apply the special code. The rules establish requirements for their protection against forgery. Each label will be linked to a specific product package, and information about the supplement and its movement can be tracked in the system.
